Currently seeking a COTA/L

Southwest Pediatric Occupational Therapy is recruiting a COTA/L to work on a per diem basis, up to 4 days a week in our Northeastern Navajo Indian Reservation schools, located in the beautiful Four Corners region (AZ, NM, CO and UT) for the 2023-2024 school year.

On-site supervision and mentoring will be provided by a senior OTR/L. New grads are welcome to apply. We pay a generous hourly rate dependent on experience, plus mileage reimbursement. The daily caseload is expected to be approximately 8 students, with individual pull-out sessions and with some group work in the classrooms. These schools have treatment space, a variety of fine and gross motor equipment, some with suspended equipment and very supportive teaching staff and administration. Co-treat and collaboration opportunities with SLP and PT and available. You will be able to provide educationally-based OT services the way IDEA intended when you come to work with Southwest Pediatric Occupational Therapy, LLC.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the southwest and learn about the Navajo Indian culture, as you experience a personally and professionally rewarding work opportunity with Southwest Pediatric OT. We are centrally located to many desirable destinations, including the Grand Canyon; Telluride, CO; Moab, UT and Santa Fe/Taos, NM.

This position offers a supportive learning environment for COTAs interested in working in a school setting. Associates degree from an accredited OTA program and Federal background investigation/fingerprinting required. OTA licensing in AZ, NM and/or UT is required, depending on assigned schools.
