In and around some of our schools

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapists work with people of all ages to help them become as independent as possible in every area of their lives. At Southwest Pediatric Occupational Therapy, we specialize in working with children of all ages to help them maximize their development and improve their academic performance and overall ability to learn. We do this by evaluating and treating delays with fine motor skills, visual skills, balance and coordination, cognitive and perceptual skills, sensory processing, reflex integration and daily living skills.
